Diálogos Sapiens is a science-focused podcast produced by the Centro Nacional de Investigación sobre la Evolución Humana (CENIEH) that brings together researchers from CENIEH and other leading institutions to engage in thoughtful conversations about human evolution and our biological, cultural, and archaeological past.

As the sound engineer behind the podcast, I’m deeply involved in the recording, editing, and mixing of each episode, shaping the sound to support clear, engaging scientific dialogue. One of the most rewarding aspects of this project is the opportunity to learn directly from these leading researchers while capturing their conversations, as well as recording on location at the archaeological site of Sierra de Atapuerca — a truly unique environment where science, history, and sound meet.

The podcast explores topics ranging from ancient DNA and early human technologies to sensory evolution and prehistoric culture, with the aim of making cutting-edge research accessible to a wider audience.
